摘要：An infant restraint for attachment to a base structure 5 normally used forsupporting adults, comprises a flexible sheet 6 attachable to the base structure 5 andshoulder and crotch straps 12,9, with means 10,14 for fastening the shoulder and crotchstraps together. As shown the infant restraint has a sheet 6 stitched to transverse straps1,2,3, which extended beyond the sheet 6 to secure it to the base structure 5 viaadjustable loops 4. The sheet has a tongue 7 that folds between the infant's legs.Shoulder belts 12, waist belts and a crotch strap 9 are secured at different points to thesheet 6, and the crotch strap 9 has a fastening member 10 at its free end which willoverlie the stomach of an infant laid on the sheet 6. The shoulder and waist belts atrespective sides can be combined into loops 12 with tongues 14 that clip into a socketmember 10 at the end of the crotch strap 9, or those loops may engage over hooks on amember attached to the crotch strap 9 (see figure 3). Alternatively the shoulder beltsmay be combined into a loop, similarly to engage the crotch strap member whilst thewaist belt is separate (see figure 5).
