step i warming up

warming up by defining/describing/presenting/discussion/quiz meanwhile, teach them some new words

a. give them several minutes to discuss the questions;

b. collect answers from the class;

c. check answers while discussing.

get the ss to read the passage quickly and meanwhile help them to form a good habit of reading.

2. text structure analysis

have the students find out the topic sentences of each paragraph 1st
