A.encourage B.discourage C.enforce D.disagree 句型解析 1【教材原句】 I was so upset that I felt like crying.(P2) 我当时觉得太难过了,甚至都想哭出来了。 【句法分析】 so...that...如此……以至于…… ①He ran so fast that I couldn’t catch up with him. 他跑得那么快,我没赶上他。

②I was so busy here (that) I had no time to write a letter. 我在这里很忙,没时间写信。 归纳拓展 (1)so...that...“如此……以至于……”,可引导表示结果的状语从句。 (2)so that引导目的状语从句,其从句中的谓语动词通常和can,may,should等情态动词连用,而且主句和从句之间不使用逗号,意为“以便,为了,使能够”。 (3)so that句型也可以用来引导结果状语从句,意为“因此,结果”,这时其从句中的谓语动词不与情态动词连用。这种结构和so...that...引导的结果在含义上有很大的区别。so that句型所表示的结果往往同主句有因果关系,而so...that...句型所表示的结果往往表明so后面形容词或副词的程度。 ①The workers did so well that he was pleased with them. 工人们干得很好,他对他们很满意。 ②They got up early so that they could catch the early bus. 为了能赶上早班车,他们早早就起床了。 (1)他没有把时间计划好,结果没有按时完成这项工作。 He didn’t plan his time well,________ ________he didn’t finish his work on time. A.so that B.even if C.as if D.ever since 2【教材原句】 Football is very important to me,but so is our friendship.(P3) 足球对我很重要,但我们的友谊也同样重要。 【句法分析】 so+be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语,此句型用法只限于肯定句中,表示“某人或某物情况也是这样”。so意为“也”。 ①He was very excited,so was everyone present at the party. 他非常兴奋,出席晚会的每个人都很兴奋。 ②If she goes there,so shall I. 如果她去那儿,我也去。 (1)neither/nor+be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语,前面的否定情况也适用于后者。 (2)It is the same with+名词/代词宾格或So it is with+名词/代词宾格,表示前者的混合情况(既有肯定又有否定或两个谓语无统一的助动词)适用于后者--“也”。 (3)so+主语+be动词/助动词/情态动词,表示对前面或对方所说情况的赞同或证实,主语指的是同一个人或物,语气较强,意为“的确如此”。 (1)——我从未去过南京。 —I have never been to Nanjing. ——汤姆也没去过。 —________/________ ________Tom.
